there have been so many shootings lately, random and unprovoked and it’s horrific. but this? this shooting took place in a gurduwara, a temple, a place of worship, a place where anybody of any race, religion of caste is welcomed. that is what a gurduwara is. gurduwara literally means ‘home of God’.

a gurduwara is open to everyone and anyone, for people (even if they are not Sikhs) to have free food (langar) and sometimes if people need to, they are even allowed to stay overnight. it’s a sanctuary.

and someone attacked worshippers (and the officers who tried to stop him) for what? I don’t even know.

what is wrong with the people in this world?
